Join Strise in the fight against financial crime by building AI-driven Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

Here’s a bit of our story

Strise is a fast-expanding technology company, that helps top-tier banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions fight financial crime through our AI-powered automation solutions.

From our earliest start as a research project out of NTNU, we've now pioneers in AML automation technology. We've earned the trust of major financial institutions in Scandinavia, secured a $10M investment from Atomico, and now we're expanding into the UK and Europe.

Technology is at the heart and soul of who we are, and we’re looking for likeminded people to join us.

AI: The future is now

One of Strise’s in-house mantras at the moment is, “don’t miss the GenAI train!” And for good reason. Strise is always at the forefront of advancements in tech, not only in our own products, but providing spaces for the wider tech community to join in.

By joining us, you become part of a team committed to innovation, not just in the products we create but also in how we evolve as professionals. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about their continuous development and eager to contribute to our collective success.

FAQ
What does the recruitment process look like at Strise?

Our recruitment process designed to ensure a mutual fit. Here is a brief overview of what you can expect:

Screening Talk: After reviewing your documents, and if your profile matches our criteria, we'll arrange an initial screening call with our recruiter. This is an opportunity to discuss your experiences, skills, and aspirations, and for us to answer any preliminary questions you may have.

Meet & Greet: If the screening goes well, you'll be invited to meet with the hiring manager or team. This could be in person or over a video call, depending on circumstances.

Second Interview (Case and Personality Survey): In this stage, you may be asked to complete a case study related to your job role. A personality survey could also be conducted to understand how you'd fit into our work environment.

Coffee Chat with the CEO: Selected candidates will then have an informal coffee chat with the CEO. This is a fantastic opportunity to delve deeper into the company's culture and vision.

References Check: We'll then contact your references to confirm your previous work experience and performance.

Remember that this process can vary depending on the job role, and not all steps may apply to every role.

I can't seem to be able to upload a cover letter with my application, why is that?

To innovate the recruitment process and make it more personable, we have replaced traditional cover letters with casual coffee chats for certain positions. We believe that real-time interaction provides a more accurate insight into a candidate's skills, passion and fit for our company culture. We aim to keep the threshold for these chats as low as possible.

How long does the recruitment process take?

We aim to be efficient in our recruitment process and strive to extend a job offer within 2-3 weeks after the first meeting. This timeline may vary based on factors like the role, number of applicants, and other considerations, but we understand the significance of communication and will keep you updated throughout the process.

Do you notify unsuccessful candidates?

Yes, we strive to notify every candidate about the status of their application. If you haven't heard from us within 4 weeks after you submitted your application, feel free to reach out directly.

Do you offer internships or apprenticeships?

Yes, we are committed to nurturing skills and talents at all levels. While it does vary year by year whether we offer internships or apprenticeships based on our needs and capacity, when we do, they are announced throughout the year on the career page.

I'm interested in an engineering role, but I don't know Scala. Can I still apply?

Absolutely! While knowledge of Scala can be beneficial for some of our engineering roles, it is not a strict requirement. We value your ability to learn and adapt more than your existing knowledge of a specific language or tool.

Does your company support the relocation of successful candidates?

Yes, we do. We understand that moving to a new city or country can be challenging; hence, we aim to provide as much support as we can. We've partnered with reputed relocation firms to assist with the transition. This includes help with visa processes, finding housing, and other logistical details. Once you've accepted our job offer, our team or the relocation firm will guide you through the process to ensure a smooth transition.
